Twin Creeks Proposed

Supporting the growth of Wasaga Beach with a low-rise residential community for families, seniors, and first-time home buyers.

The Twin Creeks project looks to transform privately owned land formerly known as the Twin
Creeks Golf and Country Club with 364 new homes, enhanced trails, and park spaces across six residential blocks. Additional landscaping and new road infrastructure are also being
considered as part of the application.

New Park Space & Enhanced Trails

Environmental studies of the area have been conducted to inform how Twin Creeks can support and enhance natural features. The following components are being proposed as part of the Twin Creeks development:
2 community park spaces
5 new trail routes
Preservation and enhancement of Lamont Creek

Creating new Housing Opportunities

Wasaga's population is set to climb by over 7,000 in the next five years. Residential developments within existing urban and residential boundaries, like Twin Creeks, have been identified by both the Town of Wasaga Beach and the Province of Ontario as important strategies for managing growth and creating housing options. The Twin Creeks development will include:
The development will consist of 364 new residential units total.
All units with the development are proposed to be low rise detached homes.
Lot sizes scaled for families, seniors, and first time home buyers.
Cohesive architectural design aligned with the style and identity of the surrounding neighbourhood.

Extending Municipal Services

The Twin Creeks development will extend the town’s watermain and sanitary sewer system to service the new community. The following infrastructural elements have been proposed:
Two new storm water management facilities
Street curbs that incorporate the storm sewer system directly
New service roads and private laneways
